Kelvinator Flammable Material & Explosion-Proof Storage
Refrigerators and freezers and refrigerator-freezer combinations, with single and double doors (some with inner doors as well), are available from Kelvinator Scientific with capacities of 27.3 and 49.1 cubic feet for flammable material storage and explosion-proof storage. Temperature range on the refrigerators runs from 3ºC to 13 ºC (35 ºF to 55 ºF), while the freezers range from -23ºC to -30ºC. Steel construction is used inside and out with a powder coat finish. |

Flammable Material Storage Cabinets
Kelvinator Scientific FMS cabinets meet the highest safety standards for ether, organic solvents and other flammable materials. All cabinets comply with requirements for flammable material storage as set forth by NFPS Safety Standards. Solid urethane foam-insulated doors have built-in keylocks for added security, and a hold-open feature provides for ease of loading and unloading. Both upright refrigerators and freezers and combination refrigerator-freezers are available in different door configurations and capacities (see ordering chart). |

Explosion-Proof Storage
All Kelvinator Scientific explosion-proof storage units meet UL and NFPA safety standards and have been accepted for use by the City of New York Department of Buildings, thus achieving the highest standards. A freezer and a combination refrigerator-freezer are available. Cabinet construction is of heavy gauge cold rolled steel for the exterior and galvalume on the interior. Urethane insulation binds inner and outer walls into single units for greater strength and thinner wall construction for more working capacity |
