Storage Chamber Racks

These noncontaminating racks are available in several sizes to provide conductive support for Terra stainless steel shelves and trays. They are also ideal in many applications to solve organization or handling problems with PC boards, laminating sheets, screen frames and other parts.

Racks can be retrofitted into existing storage systems, allowing you to replace damaged racks with electropolished stainless steel ones. Use the chart below as a guide for selecting a rack.

Adjustable Rack

• Slotted 304 stainless steel rack allows adjustment of wire support bars in .25-inch increments
• Ideal for supporting materials of varying widths within a single storage cabinet

These adjustable Stainless Steel racks accommodate many different sizes of materials within a single storage cabinet.

They can be mounted to the bottom and/or top of a chamber. Wire support bars, available in three sizes, can then be moved back and forth in the racks in .25-inch increments. Bottom-mounted racks with ascending wire supports are well suited to most stored materials. Top-mounted racks with descending wire supports are ideal for tall, thin objects (like screen frames).

Adjustable Shelf Support (for Terra Desiccators)
These low-profile 304 stainless steel supports lend added strength to Terra desiccators—without taking up valuable space. They ensure that cabinets will not warp or crack under heavy loads (up to 150 pounds per fixed chamber shelf). Their retractable design makes installation easy. Only 1.0625" high, they are mounted behind a lip beneath the desiccator's fixed chamber shelves in an area that is otherwise unused. Typical installation requires two supports—one 3" from the front and the other 3" from the rear of the chamber; select appropriate size for your desiccator. Price includes installation.

LiftLatch™ Extends Life of Doors and Gaskets
Conventional latches can create torque if too much pressure is applied, placing strain on doors, hinges, and gaskets that in time can cause damage. For this reason, Terra Universal includes the LiftLatch™ on all its desiccators on a standard basis. This improved latch design places no lateral strain on doors, and its cam-style closing mechanism guarantees a snug seal. The LiftLatch is available with optional locking mechanism. For enhanced security, select LiftLatches™ with tamperproof hinges. Note: LiftLatches™ cannot be substituted for older-style rotary latches. All part numbers below are per door.
