Low-Energy Filter/Fan Unit (FFU)

These reliable, self-powered Filter/Fan Units provide a reliable flow of microfiltered air to meet cleanliness standards down to Class 1 (ISO 3). See Application Guidelines for filter application guidelines.

Patented baffling technology ensures uniform airflow across the filter face and attenuates sound for the lowest noise level in the industry: approximately 48 dBA. Select HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filters, rated 99.99% efficient @ removal of particles 0.3µm and larger, or ULPA (Ultra-Low Penetration Air) filter, rated 99.9995% efficient @ removal of particles 0.128µm and larger.

The durable aluminum lid and body features a snap-in prefilter, for easy replacement and maintenance, and a walkable plenum design (excluding prefilter). The 2 x 4 models use a 3-speed, centrifugal-type fan/motor with permanently lubricated bearings. Other sizes use a speed control for a full range of settings.
