Laminar Flow and Ductless Exhaust Fume Hoods and Workstations Terra Universal’s comprehensive line of hoods fall into two broad categories:

Laminar Flow Clean Benches, including portable laminar flow hoods, help meet cleanliness requirements by directing a horizontal or vertical airflow through a particle filter (HEPA or ULPA).

Exhaust Fume Hoods, including laboratory hoods, ductless exhaust fume hoods, and ventilation cabinets, draw chemical fumes from the work area for ducting to a remote location or for purification in an activated charcoal and indoor release, in ductless operations.

		Laminar Flow Workstations (Clean Benches) These workstations incorporate 99.99% efficient HEPA or 99.999% efficient ULPA fan/filter modules that remove particulate airborne contamination to meet cleanliness requirements. These freestanding laminar flow workstations are available in vertical and horizontal airflow configurations for use with a variety of work surfaces.

		Portable Laminar Flow Hoods These economical, lightweight hoods can be positioned on most work surfaces to provide a compact particle-free environment. Select between vertical and horizontal airflow designs, in many chemical-resistant, static-safe materials

		Biological Safety Cabinets The Purifier® Logic Biosafety cabinet from Labconco meets all NSF standards for Class II, Type A2 Biological Safety Cabinets. EMC technology provides advanced features, including a digital monitor of remaining filter life.

		Laboratory Fume Hoods These lab hoods from Labconco safely remove exhaust fumes. Bypass airflow design maintains stable face velocities as air sash opens and closes. Available in several designs and materials, these systems are intended for connection to an existing laboratory ducting system.

		Ductless Exhaust Hoods Activated charcoal filters remove common organic fumes to allow ductless operation and safe indoor exhaust fume release. Many models available, from freestanding Paramount systems by Labconco to economical benchtop units.
